Ed Lord, former Senior Vice President for SA Business Development at the American Cancer Society, has joined DonorDrive Social Fundraising software as Vice President of Client Growth and Consulting. Ed started his career with the American Cancer Society shortly after graduation and rose through the ranks during his 25-year tenure. He is honored to have acquired his extensive experience working in so many capacities at one of America’s most prestigious nonprofits: “I’m proud that I started at the bottom in the American Cancer Society and worked my way up.”
At the American Cancer Society Ed helped the organization raise over a billion dollars. Starting in the early 1990s he helped pioneer peer-to-peer fundraising and experiential events such as Making Strides Against Cancer and Relay for Life.
